Grovi Family uses two kinds of token and keeps them apart. Stock fragments are what you catch. $GROVI is what the game itself is planned to run on: boosts, the legendary gate, sponsor payments and votes on new spots. Everything below is labelled with what it really is today.
The only official $GROVI is the contract address on this site. Other tokens with a similar name, on Solana or any other chain, have nothing to do with Grovi Family. Official news comes from @grovi.

Shop boosts
Less waiting, a bonus catch, or a wider reach for an hour. Dollar prices, settled in $GROVI from your playing wallet. The shop page shows the planned prices.
Burn on every shop sale
Planned: 50% of every shop payment destroyed, 50% sent to a public shop wallet. A burn would be visible as a lower supply in the mint account above.
Legendary gate
To enter the daily one-share draw, the claiming wallet would need to have held a set amount of $GROVI for 24 hours. The balance is read, never moved. The amount is set at launch.
Sponsor spots
Shops pay for pins on their doorstep; paying in $GROVI is planned next to paying in SOL or USDC.
Votes on new spots
Holders propose cities and corners and vote on which get pins next, weighted by balance held for a day. Votes would be signed messages, no transaction needed.
Connect and see your balance
Connect a Solana wallet and the site reads your SOL and $GROVI balances directly from the chain.
A bridge to another chain
Not planned. The token, the loot and your wallet all stay on Solana.
What $GROVI is not
- Not a share in any company and not a claim on the stock fragments in the game.
- Not a source of income. It pays nothing by itself, and its price can fall to zero.
- Not needed to play the free map. Walking and catching cost nothing.
- Not on another chain. There is no bridged or wrapped version.
Buying it, once it exists
- Install a Solana wallet: Phantom, Solflare or Backpack.
- Add a little SOL for fees.
- Copy the contract address from this page, not from a reply or a DM.
- Swap on Jupiter or the launch page, and check that the address in the swap matches this page character for character.
Until launch there is nothing to buy, and any token offered as $GROVI before this page shows an address is not ours.
Why the game token and the loot share one chain
The stock fragments a pin can hold are xStocks, tokenized shares that already trade on Solana. Putting $GROVI on the same chain means a boost you buy, the gate that checks your balance and the catch you receive all happen in one wallet, with one kind of fee, and nothing has to cross a bridge.
The vault that would pay catches is not live yet. When it is, it will be a Solana address holding stock tokens, refilled in public, and the proof page will read it directly. $GROVI is not used to pay catches: the prize is always the stock itself.
